“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour,” (1 Peter 5:8)
Today, I had a very vivid dream that I knew was from the Lord. A warning dream.
In the dream, I had been writing things for the Lord and many were very angry at me. Shortly after me just somehow knowing that many were angry at me, a man came to my home at night. He crashed through my front door so violently and with such strength that he not only effortlessly busted through the door but also busted through much of the doorframe and wall around it.
Once through, he quickly and aggressively ran straight toward me, gun in hand, and pointed the barrel of his gun maybe a couple feet from my face. I could see right down its barrel clearly. I cowered somewhat, put my hand up indicating for him to stop (like that would work), and in my mind said, “How can I talk my way out of this?”
I stood up, and all I could say was, “Jesus. Jesus. In the name of Jesus. And I began to pray in tongues and sing in tongues.”
At the FIRST mention of the name of Jesus, the man’s evil countenance changed from tormentor to tormented. The more I said Jesus, in the name of Jesus, and prayed in tongues, etc., the more he was struck with absolute terror. I have never seen such a look of utter terror on someone’s face.
Somehow, his gun ended up in my hand – the name of Jesus “disarmed him” – Hallelujah! He then pulled another gun from his person, but did so in absolute terror, neck bent forward, shoulders up in a protective fashion, and flew out the door, cowering and looking at me as he fled in stricken with terror.
“They” sent this man after me with the intent of killing me on the spot.
The enemy is roaring louder than ever and will devour whom he MAY. But he doesn’t have to. Be sober and prayerful and alert and believe by faith that you have authority over all his power. That thief is nothing compared to the name of Jesus. Fear not!
“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly,” (John 10:10)
The Lord told me to interpret this spiritually and to use spiritual warfare to confront it. The man represented demonic spirits either wanting to kill me directly (sickness, etc.) or using people (toxic ones, etc.) who submit to the will of the devil and are used to go in for the slow kill as well as occupy all my time therefore making me ineffective to do God’s will. e.g. write, say what He’d have me say, be a mother or daughter, etc. that can wholly be there for her family.
BUT the name of Jesus!
Notice how at there mere mention of the name of Jesus that the enemy cowered in fear and was scattered. This is what we are called to. I believe and have heard this for some time in my spirit, and heard it again today from a pastor, that His people will see greater works that Jesus did happen through us in His name in these last of the last days. Jesus purchased authority over all the power of the enemy 2000 years ago. It’s time His people took Him for His Word and promises – FACT above what we see.
“Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you,” (Luke 10:19).
ALL the power of the enemy. The enemy and every demon under him must cower at the mention of the name of Jesus. Only believe. If you are a born again believer in Jesus Christ, this means you too.
I was able to report it to the police. I can’t remember what was said but they showed me photos of people “they” were trying to harm / kill as well. One photo I do recall is of a woman sleeping and me saying, “See? They were trying to kill her too.”
I am not 100% sure of the interpretation on why the woman was sleeping and that I understood it as they were trying to kill her in her sleep in the actual dream.
Is this the large number of people still asleep in the church but still just as vulnerable to “death” or serious harm (a form of death) in some way?
Be not deceived the enemy is merciless beyond merciless and truly seeks to kill God’s people, using others, willing vessels as well.
I had neglected to pray the whole army of God lately, and the Lord reminded me this morning that I must do this and take is seriously – in faith from a place of rest – not fear.
Because I take Him for His Word as FACT that…
“He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler,” (Psalm 91:4).
You too can put on the full armor of God, know the Word for yourself, so His truth is also Your shield and buckler.
It also came to me to be QUICK to forgive your enemies as to give no permission to the enemy to attack you.
Here’s Ephesians 6:10-20 for your convenience and His glory…
The Whole Armor of God
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, (M)being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— 19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
