Our good Father God, gave us His Word filled with promises for us to possess for ourselves by faith.
Some of my favorite verses come from Psalm 30:8-12 which I have made a personal prayer many times and have seen God answer mightily.
8 I cried out to You, O Lord;
And to the Lord I made supplication:
9 “What profit is there in my blood,
When I go down to the pit?
Will the dust praise You?
Will it declare Your truth?
10 Hear, O Lord, and have mercy on me;
Lord, be my helper!”
11 You have turned for me my mourning into dancing;
You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness,
12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent.
O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.
If you are in a situation that has you in a state of mourning (tormentors in your life, sickness, lack, etc.), you can make these words your prayer in faith. God is a merciful God and longs to be gracious to us. His name is literally, Deliverer. Call upon Him as such as a faith declaration to Him and to increase your faith. Pray and do not give up until turnaround comes. Yes, even your tears are prayers to Him, so if you can’t muster up words at times, hold these verses close to your heart to the Lord.
I have experienced deliverances and one GREAT deliverance from the Lord from a truly terrible enemy. His Word is true. Take His promises as fact. Trust Him.
