Feed His Sheep, Miracles

Jesus GAVE the Bread and Fish TO the Disciples to Feed the People – Beautiful Shadow of What All of Us, as His, are Called to

broke bread

Matthew 15:32-39

Feeding the Four Thousand

32 Now Jesus called His disciples to Himself and said, “I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now continued with Me three days and have nothing to eat. And I do not want to send them away hungry, lest they faint on the way.”

33 Then His disciples said to Him, “Where could we get enough bread in the wilderness to fill such a great multitude?”34 Jesus said to them, “How many loaves do you have?”
And they said, “Seven, and a few little fish.”

35 So He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground. 36 And He took the seven loaves and the fish and gave thanks, broke them and gave them to His disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitude. 37 So they all ate and were filled, and they took up seven large baskets full of the fragments that were left. 38 Now those who ate were four thousand men, besides women and children. 39 And He sent away the multitude, got into the boat, and came to the region of Magdala.

I love this so much. Jesus didn’t distribute the food Himself, He GAVE it TO the disciples to give to (feed) the multitude.

What a beautiful shadow of what we are called to even today. Jesus GAVE Himself for us, to save us, and indwell us with His very Spirit, so that we could GO into all the world on His behalf and feed His sheep the saving and healing gospel of Jesus Christ. To partake of His body and blood.

And for communion, the Lord’s supper, He instructed us to use bread to represent His broken body, and wine to represent His blood. So, it was also a shadow of how His body would be broken for the saving of the multitudes.

All glory to the Lamb! How we praise You, Lord Jesus!

Faith, Faith Comes by the Word of God, Healing, Miracles

The Substance for Our Faith for Miracles is Knowing This

the substance for your faith for miracles

There is a “Sovereignty of God” man-made doctrine in Christendom that is widely misused and is taught in such a way that God is random and picks and chooses whom to bless, whom to heal, according to some random, mysterious, unable-for-man-to-know will of His, etc.

But the Word says God is a God of order, and in His Sovereignty, He chose to bind Himself to His Word and promises and is not random at all. But it’s not what I say, or man says, it’s what God says.

What does God, our good Father, say?

~ “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him,” (1 John 5:14-15). ~

He wouldn’t say we can ask according to His will and not tell us what His will is. His Word shows us His will. E.g. “By His stripes we were healed (1 Peter 2:24).”; “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19),” and many, many more.

~”For You have magnified Your word above all Your name,” (Psalm 138:2). ~

This is a very powerful verse in all its glory and meaning. In His sovereignty, He chose to keep us more than clued in on His will. Not only that but He tells us He places His Word above His name in importance, so we can have confidence in it as a strong and absolutely sure foundation of our faith.

He’s not a willy-nilly God, but a come and seek Me in my Word and you CAN know my will God, and boldly expect to receive according to our faith in It. Not sorry, twist-the-sovereignty-of-God false teachers, God is not random, but good, giving us the greatest substance ever for our faith to bring forth His miracle working power, His Holy Word, full of His express and perfect will for us, His precious children.

~ “For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints,” (1 Corinthians 14:33). ~

Thank You, Father, for not leaving us lost and confused without Your Word, and for exalting Your Word above Your name, a Word full of Your will and promises which are ALL yes and amen.

~ “For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us,” (2 Corinthians 1:20). ~

This verse is an example of God’s will for ALL His children, not a select, random few. The devil is a liar. But we must believe and not doubt to receive His promises by faith. That’s where the TROUGH US comes in from 2 Corinthians 1:20 that you just read. Our entire walk with God is a faith one. Faith pleases Him and is how we receive His Word and promises for ourselves.

God isn’t sounding quite so random anymore is He?

That widespread, extreme sovereignty of God, man-made false doctrine is hopefully looking as false as it truly is by now, I pray. Again, in His Sovereignty, All Powerfulness, and Most Highly Ranked state in all the universe, He Himself CHOSE to work within His Word for His. He could have chosen to be random, left us without His Holy Word, but He chose to give us full instructions to live by and to KNOW His will.

We either take Him for His Word – we can know His will, ALL His promises are yes and amen OR we can reject His Word and will for ourselves which is what many do because they are ignorant of the Word that says, We are in a spiritual battle and must pray and not give up until we see.

prayer towards miracles

It’s those who persist in prayer, based on the sure foundation of the Word and will of God who see miracles.

So what is the substance for our faith for miracles?

It’s knowing God’s Word for ourselves in a revelatory way by the Holy Spirit and thus knowing His will. God’s Word makes His will very clear on much with the exception of future plans for each individual.

BUT, we CAN seek Him, surrender our plans into His hands, ask for wisdom and direction and trust Him to direct our steps. Yes, we can ignore Him and His warnings and go our own way too, but we don’t have to.

Read my post, Be a Caleb – What giants? I don’t see any giants?, for an example of how because we have free will, we can reject God’s Word and will for ourselves through unbelief and how God sees rejecting His Word as rejecting Him because He is His Word. He loves us no matter what, of course but lets us choose His will or not.

I pray this post blessed you, and if so, please comment, like, and share. All glory to the Holy Spirit for teaching me and leading me into all truth regarding what I shared.
