Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

JAMES 1:27

A sister in Christ is recently widowed, and I want to do what I can to bless her.

She’s currently offering one of her novels for free. Not sure when this generous offer ends, but you can get it here.

And please pray for her and her healing.

HOW TO PRAY FOR PASTORS FOR THE END TIMES CHURCH

For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?

ESTHER 4:14

We can easily discern by what is happening in the church and what isn’t that it is far from God’s will and mostly in compromise. Everything of God – His Word, gifts, prophecy,  giving, etc. – has been twisted and abused by the enemy, driving people into further confusion and deception. Then instead of seeking Him to know His Word for themselves and what He says about matters, giving, the gifts of the Spirit many, not all, are abandoning them altogether out of disappointment, disgust, and all that the twisting His Word and way brings.

But when His Word and gifts are used as He intended, they draw people, heal them, and set them on fire to continue to co-labor with Jesus to help others for the saving of souls and setting free by the power of the Holy Spirit.

So strongly, I’ve heard the Holy Spirit say how terrible the state of the church looks to the lost and how these perversions of God’s truth are keeping them from Jesus. That’s why we must pray.

When in prayer, the Lord gave me Esther 4:14 to speak to me about pastors.

He used it to speak to me about the overall church and the lost to say if pastors today do not obey His voice or are quenching it, so they can no longer hear Him, that He will raise up others in their place. And all they think they are doing or all of God’s truth they are not speaking to “hold on to” and protect “their” church, position, salary or to prevent “members” from leaving is self-deception and will lead to the very thing they fear – losing it all.

It’s not their church, and there’s nothing they can do to hold onto it if God removes them from their position for not taking care of His sheep. For harming them, lying to and deceiving them, and withholding His truth. For not loving them and for being lovers of self.

God has been, is, and will continue to raise up others to replace every false shepherd and prophet, every wolf in sheep’s clothing with sons and daughters of thunder who don’t “look like” or “seem like” God would use them in the eyes of man. Oh, but praise God, He looks on the heart alone.

Let’s pray that every pastor, shepherd, and teacher of the Word …

Put God and His Word first no matter what. No matter if it causes a church split, no matter it offends, no matter if they lose their 501c3 status, no matter if they lose their position.

See and know that they know God is their Source alone. Not donors, etc. Him alone.

Return to their first love Jesus and always have the Lord and His namesake, His reputation, His people, and the lost in mind when they preach and teach.

Obey God as Micaiah who said in 1 Kings 22:14, “As the Lord lives, whatever the Lord says to me, that I will speak.”

Be defenders of the Word like Paul as we defend His Word out of our love for Him, His truth, and people. Everything else leads people into bondage or hell. True love speaks His truth to keep people from these things.

Fear You more than they fear man and be totally delivered from people pleasing.

Be delivered from every man-made side doctrine that adds to and takes away from the Word.

Be delivered from exalting their denominational beliefs above the Word.

Be led by the Holy Spirit.

Teach the full gospel including that the gifts (the ministry of the Holy Spirit) and healing are for today. Perverting the gospel by withholding His truth in any way very serious in the eyes of God and robbing people of freedom.

Make disciples who make disciples who make disciples.

Bow their knees and fully submit to the Lord and everything the voice of the Lord tells them or be replaced by those who will. Souls, lives, His truth and namesake are all at stake here and matter more than pastors being removed from their positions for bringing much harm to His people.

Also pray that…

Every false teacher, prophet, bowed to money and power ones, etc. be exposed and His people learn and study the Word for themselves, so they know that what they are being taught is His truth, that they not blindly accept everything they are taught, and test every spirit as many wolves abound to devour God’s flock in these times.

In Jesus’ name, amen.

in your face paul Gal 2 11-12-B

Now when Peter had come to Antioch, I withstood him to his face, because he was to be blamed; for before certain men came from James, he would eat with the Gentiles; but when they came, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing those who were of the circumcision. And the rest of the Jews also played the hypocrite with him, so that even Barnabas was carried away with their hypocrisy.

GALATIANS 2:11-13

Out of the passionate love for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the true gospel of grace, and his brothers and sisters, Paul got in Peter’s face for bowing to those who were mixing the law and grace.

Hmmm. That doesn’t sound like a loving Christ follower according to the standards of some today. I beg to differ. Like Paul, our passionate love for God, the truth of His Word, and the love of our brothers and sisters should compel us to defend His truth no matter how much it may offend.

Paul didn’t want them to re-enter into even one letter of the law and the bondage it brings. A law no one could ever keep. The fire of God’s love for them in him corrected  them and implored them to rest in the finished work of Jesus Christ and to stop preaching two gospels.

Jesus fulfilled every letter of the law, and it is an affront to all He did for us to mix even a letter of the law into justification by faith alone in Christ and His death and resurrection for the forever atonement of our sins.

I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed,” Galatians 1:6-10.

No mealy-mouthed, marshmallow foo-foo talk here by Paul. I see much of the church talking around the truth, which is technically a lie, because they are unwilling, and quite frankly don’t love God and people enough to speak His truth and defend it.

He tells them they are perverting the gospel and anyone who preaches anything but the one true gospel should be accursed.

Some ways churches pervert the gospel today by continuing to mix the law and grace (or new man-made laws they’ve concocted) to continue to keep His people in bondage and oppression.

Continue to preach the tithe is required and say things like, “That’s why your financed are cursed because you don’t give the full 10% of your gross income.” Speaking of gross, this is a blatant manipulation of God’s Word, a perversion of the gospel, a mixing of law and grace to ensure they collect the money to pay their salaries and bills. The tithe was part of the law which Jesus fulfilled. We are now called to be cheerful givers. This should be confronted by the people in any church this is being taught just as Paul did.

Teach that one can “lose our salvation.” This is one of the most hideous attacks on the blood of Jesus. I’ve seen comments from unbelievers who’ve said, “Why should I choose Jesus because if I mess up, I’ll go to hell anyway?” People take perversions of the gospel too lightly and few are confronting them as Paul did. Hebrews 10:14 says, “For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.” Period. Amen.

One truly born again cannot become unborn again. They are perfected forever by one offering. The blood of Jesus is enough. It is finished. Those in Christ have had every letter of the law fulfilled for them by Jesus by faith alone. Once in Christ, God Himself immediately seals us for all eternity and is sanctifying us from glory to glory.

“God puts sickness on His children to teach them a lesson.” Hogwash! I spit on those words and lies against my Lord Jesus Christ. Okay, I just heard myself say that in a Russian accent. This lie too is the mixing of law and grace. Jesus redeemed us from the curse of the law. Period. One of the curses of disobeying the law was sickness, and if Jesus redeemed us from all the curses if the law this includes sickness. Because of Jesus, if we get sick, we can pray believing to be healed because since He fulfilled the law, the blessings of Abraham were also made available to us.

Churches who teach God puts sickness on us to teach us a lesson, though we are under grace, are teaching that Christ didn’t really fulfill the law. They are suffering from “the gospel of grace is just to good to be true” syndrome and feel compelled, under the influence of a demonic, religious spirit, to put the law back on people and teach this lie against God. 1 Peter 2:24 says, Jesus “who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.” Our Lord Jesus atoned for our sins, to deliver us from the entire law, and so we could be healed in every way, including from sickness.

Regarding sickness and disease, this makes me wonder (not conclude) about when Paul says in Galatians 1:9, “Now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed,” that the reason why many believers get sick and stay sick is because they’ve accursed themselves by preaching another gospel (with the law) that teaches God makes His children sick to teach them a lesson for His glory (which is found nowhere in the gospels and is totally opposite of Him fully delivering us from the curse of the law).

Notice I said, “accursed themselves.” By choosing to preach a false gospel by their own free will, could they be accursing themselves by doing so? I will be seeking the Lord more in His Word and in prayer about this revelation that just came to me as I was writing this.

Categorizing sins as greater than the blood of Jesus or calling things sin that are not. E.g. blaming those divorced as, “You get what you deserve,” or “Sorry, you can no longer minister here.”

Does God hate divorce? Yes, because it’s a form of death and greatly hurts all involved. It’s a terrible and tragic thing. But His Word makes provision for it as well as remarriage as long as it’s a legal divorce* and not merely a separation. With a legal certificate of divorce, remarriage is not sin. I must add that we should try everything possible to avoid divorce. But sometimes, it’s not possible, not wise, or even safe to stay married because of adultery and/or abuse.

Sadly, religious men continue to add to the Word and act as the law, taking it upon themselves to elevate divorce and insist people still be punished, condemned, shunned, and excluded, etc. by them. Punishing them for even what God is not. Jesus paid it all.

Those in Christ have all their sins forgiven – past, present, and future (Hebrews 10:14). That’s grace. Unfortunately, there are many other ways today’s churches mix the law and grace or come up with laws they’ve created to add to or take away from the one true gospel.

“But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter,” Romans 7:6

The words of this post are also a call to pray, to fervently cry out for the church and its shepherds, and for ‘Pauls’ to rise up and defend His Word out of love of God and people, for His namesake and for the sake of the lost who are watching and are being driven or kept away by perverted gospels.

Prayer

Father, burn away every false gospel upon the face of the earth and draw every church, every shepherd, every child of Yours back unto Your one true gospel of grace – the finished work of Jesus Christ on behalf of all who’ve confessed Your Son’s name in Jesus’ name, amen.

*Transparency. I edited the categorizing sins, etc section because I knew the section category and example I wanted to use but went back because I felt I needed to reword the explanation better.

Ruth 1 20 word

But she said to them, “Do not call me Naomi; call me Mara, for the Almighty has dealt very bitterly with me.

RUTH 1:20

Naomi’s words in Ruth 1:20 are a great example of a person blaming God for the bad things that happen to them when their free will chose against His will and guidance for their safety.

During a famine, instead of staying in town of Bethlehem (means house of bread), they left the land of His people, promise, and shelter and went to Moab, an extremely ungodly place. God would have provided for them in Bethlehem because He promises to supply for His children even in famines, but He couldn’t stop their free will from taking them to an ungodly and dangerous land.

They went to Moab knowing better by God not to. The Moabite people hated Israel and God forbade them to intermingle with them for their safety and protection (Deuteronomy 23:3-5). And what did Naomi’s husband do? He took his entire family there. They’d taken their eyes off God, His Word to them, saw the situation with “natural eyes,” and went to a forbidden land to their demise. Not because God willed their demise but because they put themselves in harm’s way by ignoring His warnings.

Like when a parent tells a child, “Don’t touch the stove because you’ll get burned,” and they do it anyway.

The parent can’t make a hot stove un-hot to keep the child safe but can only warn him/her not to touch it in order to prevent the pain. God does the same for us, yet many blame Him when they choose to ignore His loving words intended to bless and protect us, not to keep us from having fun or missing out, etc.

God will not force us to choose His will or to choose His words of warning intended to protect us, but because God is merciful and just, He redeemed the situation for Naomi and does for us as well.

Let’s read what happened to Naomi and her family in Moab when they put themselves in harm’s way in a forbidden land for God’s people…

“Now it came to pass, in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land. And a certain man of Bethlehem, Judah, went to dwell in the country of Moab, he and his wife and his two sons. The name of the man was Elimelech, the name of his wife was Naomi, and the names of his two sons were Mahlon and Chilion—Ephrathites of Bethlehem, Judah. And they went to the country of Moab and remained there. Then Elimelech, Naomi’s husband, died; and she was left, and her two sons. Now they took wives of the women of Moab: the name of the one was Orpah, and the name of the other Ruth. And they dwelt there about ten years. Then both Mahlon and Chilion also died; so the woman survived her two sons and her husband” (Ruth 1:1-5).

…Answer? All the men died.

Because Elimelech, his wife’s covering and protector, was the one who took her to Moab, and she didn’t have a choice in the matter, God kept her and the wives her sons took in that land. To whom much is given. Much is expected. Husbands, be careful how and what you lead your family into.

God is a Redeemer!

In Ruth 1, all the husbands are dead, so Naomi and Ruth return to Bethlehem, the land of God’s people, while Orpah returns to her family. They returned back to the “house of bread” where they too should have stayed and where His people not only survived the famine but thrived during it.

Enter Boaz

Ruth had turned from the ways of the Moabites to the God of Israel and joined her mother-in-law in Bethlehem, they are husbandless, and need food and provision. The goodness of God leads Ruth to Boaz’s field.

Long story short, she finds favor and love with Boaz, a godly man of great wealth, they marry, and Naomi and Ruth were redeemed and provided for with more than enough.

God is so good that…

He even used Naomi and Ruth as the ancestral line of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Now, that’s above and beyond redemption. He causes all things to work together for our good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28), and the book of Ruth is a great example in the lives of Naomi and Ruth.

The book of Ruth is a beautiful story of God’s redemption, and if you’d like you can begin to read it here.

Prayer

Father, may people see You as You truly are – a good and loving Father. You only intend for our good, but we can ignore You and put ourselves in harm’s way by our wills not Yours. The wages of sin is death, and we can even be affected by other people’s sins as we see with Elimelech, the husband of Naomi, or with how thousands of toxins and carcinogenic chemicals are in our foods and products born from the sin and greed of man for max profit and not for the care of human safety which affect people and makes them sick. This is not Your will telling them to poison people with all these toxins but their sin-bent free will and love of money. O that all may see You as You are and not how they twist and perceive as Naomi initially did in Jesus’ name, amen.

be a spark rally my people

Around May or June of last year, 2018, the Lord spoke these words into my spirit:

Be a spark. Rally My People.

At that time, I knew the Word wasn’t for me alone, and I shared it with some brothers and sisters because I believed it was for them too, and I believe it’s for any of God’s children who are willing to answer this call.

Your spark might look very different than someone else’s. This is a great thing.

Some may burn to share the gospel for the majority of their time. Some may pray and intercede for the church. Some may write for the Lord. Some may be teachers, exhorters, etc. discipling and preparing workers for the harvest.

The most important thing is that we each:

  1. Be led by God for our life and do the current thing He asks of us.
  2. Never compare our callings with others’ or try to have a ministry like so-and-so’s.
  3. Never invalidate others’ callings (as long as they don’t contradict the Word as there are many false teachers today). E.g. If one is called as an evangelist, he/she shouldn’t go around telling every other believer they should be evangelizing at his/her level or the same number of hours per day. He/she needs those intercessors out there using their time to prepare the way for you with prayer to the Lord, so hearts are softened to receive.

Spark (noun) – an ignited or fiery particle such as is thrown off by burning wood or produced by one hard body striking against another.

Be a spark. God is calling you and I to be ignited and fiery ones that spark fires in others. To be iron that sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17) as in sharpening each other for the Lord, His service, effectiveness, and His glory.

Rally (verb) – to come together for common action or effort; to come together or into order again.

I’m in tears reading these definitions again because unity, unity, unity has always been God’s will for us and something He’s had me pray for for years. This word He gave me might seem far-fetched or too much, maybe even extreme, but it’s not, it’s the heart of the Father and what Jesus fervently prayed for us two-thousand years ago – that we be one, so the world will know that God truly sent Him, Jesus, into the world.

“The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest” (Matthew 9:37-38).

Father, we pray You send out laborers into Your harvest that includes us in whatever it is You’d have us do. We answer the call to be a spark. To rally Your people. That doesn’t necessarily mean a huge audience but simply those you put in our lives or on our path. That we spark sparks who spark others. That through each obedient one, we are used to set the church on fire for You. A world-sized bonfire that can be seen everywhere. Undeniable to all that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. That we come together under Your authority and true gospel, so Your great grace and power is upon us to share Your gospel mightily and undeniably in Jesus’ name, amen.

Of Course God's Sheep Still Hear His Voice

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

JOHN 10:27

I’m deeply saddened by many comments I see on-line by believers regarding the Holy Spirit and His help and work in our lives today.

We either take God for His Word in John 10:27 (above) or reject His Word which He equates to rejecting Him because He is His Word (John 1:1;14).

Now, once we are born again, there is no condemnation in Jesus Christ, but do we really want to be rejecting the words of Jesus. I’m a plain speaker, so I’ll call it what it is…Who wants to reject God’s Word and call Him a liar? No one, at least not intentionally.

I will reiterate this often…That’s why we must each know the Word for ourselves and not settle for second hand faith through teachers of the Word alone.

David Inquired of the Lord. He didn’t unroll the existing scrolls of his time to look for answers. No, he sought the Lord, expected to hear from Him because he had a relationship with Him, and did.

What I am not saying here is to ever, ever, ever not read the Word and seek God in it for directions and guidance. But I am saying, in addition to the Word, we too can learn to hear from the Lord through a very close and personal relationship with Him – sometimes while reading the Word, sometimes during prayer times or simply talking to Him.

Take a step closer to God and He takes a step closer to you. He will not force you to pursue, call upon, or diligently seek Him with all our hearts.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways,” (James 1:5-8).

“Who gives to all liberally.” Hearing from God is for all His children, and He doesn’t stingily dole out wisdom to His sons and daughters. No, His Word says, He gives to all liberally.

The stranglehold of unbelief covers a majority of His church who say otherwise. Who say God doesn’t speak to His children today outside of His Word. Who limit God and call Him a liar.

What kind of Father doesn’t speak to His children? Not our heavenly One. He gives wisdom to all of us, liberally and without reproach, if we ask in what? In faith. Not doubting.

In these times of the church’s vast unbelief and lack of knowing God’s Word, you must guard your heart. With certainty, the more you know the Word, your faith grows, and you take God for His Word, the more the enemy will use people, even His own, to try to get you to doubt God and pull you back down to their “little faith.”

In Acts 19,20, and 21, God tells Paul what to expect in Jerusalem and uses people to warn him not to go there.

“Coming over to us, he took Paul’s belt, tied his own hands and feet with it and said, ‘The Holy Spirit says, ‘In this way the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem will bind the owner of this belt and will hand him over to the Gentiles’” (Acts 21:11). We see the Holy Spirit used Agabus to warn Paul yet again, and it was up to Paul whether he’d still go there, and he chose to.

This is another example of how the Holy Spirit can speak to us, even today.

“And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants, I will pour out My Spirit in those days,” (Joel 2:28-29).

Nowhere in God’s Word can you find that the Joel 2:28-29 expires. So how do some fall for the false teaching that hearing from God directly is not for today? Or the false teaching that the gifts of the spirit are also not for today (a subject would take a whole other post or more)?

  • Sitting under false teachers who are often bound by a religious spirit or more worried about losing church members than teaching the truth.
  • Pride, not willing to be uncomfortable for God’s sake, fear, putting man’s opinion before God’s (E.g. What would my friends think if they found out I believe God speaks to me?; Or *gasp* to speak in tongues?).
  • And many more reasons.

“Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love,” (Revelations 2:4).

I humble myself under Your mighty hand, O God, and pray that You keep me and never let me leave You, Jesus, as my first love.

I see so many scoffers hating on the Word of God and mocking people when they say they’ve heard from the Lord when all throughout the Word, even before the new and better covenant we live under, people heard from the Lord by the Holy Spirit just as we can today. Only believe.

Oh, and notice how I stated, “hating on the Word of God.” Because they are not just attacking those who take God for His Word, have shunned unbelief, and hear from God but also God and His Word directly.

His sheep hear His voice. Period. Ignore haters of God’s Word and truth and seek Him with all Your heart. The more you seek Him in His Word and prayer, the more you’ll learn to hear His voice. It’s His will.

Verses about hearing from God and being given wisdom and instructions by Him.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths,” (Proverbs 3:5-6).

“Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it,’
Whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left,'” (Isaiah 30:21).

“All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children,” (Isaiah 54:13).

“And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart,” (Jeremiah 29:13).

“Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know,” (Jeremiah 33:3).

“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come,” (John 16:13).

“Who is the man that fears the Lord? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses” (Psalm 25:12).

“Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God,
Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go,” (Isaiah 48:17).

Jesus is the Good Shepherd who never leaves us or forsakes us.

When we are born again, He literally lives in us. His Spirit dwelling with ours. If you’re born again, that’s you too.

Of course, we can hear Him if we take Him for His Word, believe and do not doubt that He does, and listen.

Prayer

Father, that I take You for Your Word and not the opinions and unbelief of man. Your mercies are new every morning. This is a new day, and I choose to have a new beginning in my walk with You. I am Your child, and I can hear Your voice too. You give wisdom to me and liberally, and I honor and praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus’ name, amen.

Word Vs. Denominations

“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one.”

JOHN 17:20-22

Jesus prayed that we, His church, be one. Why? That the world, the lost, may “believe that You sent Me.”

It’s no surprise then that the devil, the “principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this age, spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12) plot, plan, and scheme to divide the church in every way possible.

“And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works,” (2 Corinthians 11:14-15).

After being led by the Holy Spirit through His Word on the matter of denominations and the myriad of -isms, it is clear that these man-made side doctrines, not in the Word of God, are not God’s will, contradict His Word (John 17:20-22), and were inspired by the enemy, masquerading as an angel of light to the divide the church again, again, and again.

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose,” (Romans 8:28).

Because God is good and merciful, He will cause our free will choices to work together for our good.

But truly, umpteen denominations and -isms are not God’s will and passionate desire for us because they divide greatly and do not unite us as one.

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity” (Psalm 133:1).

I can’t take credit for this revelation, but on one of my social media accounts, someone commented that in mathematics, the “denominator” is the bottom number of a fraction which divides. E.g. 1/99, the number 99 is the denominator.

We get the meaning of the word “denominations” from the same root as denominator. Every denomination and other man-made side doctrine outside of the Word are intended to divide His church. Period.

This is not God’s will. No, denominations are man’s free will exercised in opposition to and despite knowledge of John 17:20-22, were inspired by the father of lies, and were often borne of pride, unbelief, intellectualism (interpreting the Word with the natural mind and not being led into the truth by the Holy Spirit), and elitism.

“Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them,” (Hebrews 7:25).

Anyone with eyes to see and ears to hear, with discernment by the Holy Spirit, knows the Lord is calling us to be as one so the lost will know that Jesus is truly the Way, the Son of God, the Hope of glory.

He prays now for His church to wake up and shed our man-made side doctrines and come under His Word and authority alone. To be deceived by the divisive devices of the enemy no more.

“Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all,” (Acts 4:32-33).

What happens when the church obeys Him and operates of “one heart and one soul”? We are powerful witnesses for Christ operating with great grace upon us ALL.

“And Micaiah said, ‘As the Lord lives, whatever the Lord says to me, that I will speak,'” (1 Kings 22:14).

His Word shows, corrects, guides, not to condemn because there is no condemnation for those in Christ, but because He desires His best for us. And His best is not a weak, ineffective, divided, and powerless church but one that glorifies Him, destroys the works of the devil in His name, and gets people set free. This is what He showed me in the Word, so this is what I speak or in this case write.

He didn’t pour out His Spirit on us that we cork it up for ourselves. He poured out His Spirit on all flesh so it could flow from us as living water and minister to the world. O that we be one, so the world could really see our beloved Jesus.

Prayer

Father, in light of Your Word, I boldly share these Spirit led words and pray that Your lukewarm church wake up. Wake up so we can be one, in Your will, and an effective, powerful force for Christ by the Holy Spirit, for Your glory. So the world will be drawn unto You by the clear evidence we display “that Jesus was sent by You.” I pray Your church can humble itself and put You and Your Word first for the saving and setting free of many in Jesus’ name, amen.

God equips us for faith-2

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

1 JOHN 5:14-15

If we ask anything “according to His will.” God is a good Father. He’s not a fake out God. He’s not going to tell us to ask according to His will and not tell us what His will is.

“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17).

There’s no way around it. Want more faith? You must keep the Word before you and feed on it regularly.

Why does God say more Word equals more faith?

The more you know His Word, the more you know His will, character, and that He is a good Father. That good comes from Him, and evil comes from Satan.

The more you know these things, the more faith you’ll have because you’ll be full of the knowledge of His will thus infused with living and active confidence and boldness to pray like 1 John 5:14-15 (above).

“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you” (John 15:7).

Knowing His Word for yourself, not second hand through a preacher or a teacher of the Word, is key to faith and receiving from God according to His Word. His Word is true. He cannot lie.

My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh” (Proverbs 4:20-22).

His Word is alive does the work in our lives and in our faith, but because we have free will, we get to choose whether or not to pay attention to His Words, keep them in front of our eyes daily, abide in them, listen to them, study them, etc.

To keep His Word ever near is to give you life and health to your physical body. What an incredible gift and revelation!

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart,” (Hebrews 4:12).

God’s Word is like nothing you’ll ever read or behold. It is literally alive, spiritually alive because it is Jesus, Himself. If you haven’t already, pray you can receive this truth as revelation knowledge. Your faith cannot be left unchanged when you take in the very Word God equates Himself with.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God,”…”And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth,” (John 1:1;14).

He IS His Word. Let His Word consume you and fill you with increasing faith and a deep revelation of His goodness, mercy, compassion, and love.

“But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God’” (Matthew 4:4).

The way I see all these verses put together is that His Word is life to us in every way, and we truly can’t live the way our good Father desires us to without living by it and knowing it for ourselves.

So, we can be saved and live a life far below His will and desires for us because we never chose to take Him for His Word to get to know Him. To know His Word is to know His will. To know Him and His will increases our faith more and more, so we can pray and receive our desires by faith.

And guess what?

The more we know His Word, the more our desires line up with His because no one can be left unchanged by God when His Word truly abides or is deeply rooted in them. And what will we desire with our ever increasing faith? To heal the sick, raise the dead, love, be blessed to be a blessing to the poor, widows, and orphans, etc.

“So Jesus said to them, ‘Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you'” (Matthew 17:20).

His Word is the only cure for unbelief. And with that mustard seed sized faith, nothing will be impossible.

More Word. More faith.

It’s our choice.

P.S. God is SO good, as we are going through things, He will lead you to the promises you need in His Word to stand on and take Him for. But His best is to seek the God who is His Word with all our hearts.

Joel 1_8 - Now is the day of salvation

Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth.

JOEL 1:8

I dreamed of the above verse – simply the reference – seconds before I woke up this morning, had no idea what is was, but knew God was speaking to me, so I looked it up.

At first, I was like, “Is this for me, Lord? No idea what you are trying to tell ME or how it applies to my life right now.” I was still groggy. Then I picked up the Word again and skimmed through Joel, it’s only three chapters.

I put the Word down and heard in my spirit, “Virgins. Why would virgins lament for their husband.” I answered, “Oh, Lord, Husband, capital ‘H’, as in You, the Husband of the church Your bride.” Tears poured and poured down my face, and I strongly felt the presence of the Lord. I knew, He wanted to me write about the virgins, their oil lamps, and salvation.

The time is very late, and the Lord doesn’t want anyone to be like the foolish virgins. He died for all, but we must each choose Him for ourselves. It’s His will that none would perish for eternity, but we know that His will won’t happen for everyone because He’s given us free will. True love allows us to choose Him or not.

The Parable of the Wise and Foolish Virgins – Matthew 25:1-13  (NKJV)

“Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish.  Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.

“And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.

“Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’

“Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.

Oil represents the Holy Spirit.

The wise virgins chose Jesus as their Savior and carried His Holy Spirit, and the foolish ones never chose Him and were devoid of His Holy Spirit.

This is why He used Joel 1:8 to speak to me this morning and share this word from Him. We need only look around and see the signs of the times, look at Israel, and see we are closer than ever to the Lord Jesus to take up His church.

Lament – (verb) – to passionately express sorrow or regret for.

God loves you and doesn’t want anyone to have to lament being left behind, being locked out, devoid of His Holy Spirit, devoid of the free gift of salvation that we receive by faith alone, never by good works but by His one great work alone – His death and resurrection, His taking our place, so there’s a place in eternity for anyone who chooses Him.

So, how do you have total assurance of eternal security with God? It’s a simple choice and act of humbling yourself and choosing Jesus by faith alone.

Admit you’re a sinner

Romans 3:23 – For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Romans 6:23 – For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Ephesians 2:8-9 – For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

Believe in your heart

Romans 10:9-10 – That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

Call upon the name of the Lord

Romans 10:13 – For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

The Lord is says, “Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation” (2 Corinthians 6:2).

I pray if you haven’t called upon the name of the Lord that you don’t wait another second.

Said as a prayer

God, I’ve sinned against You, but I choose to turn from my sin now. By faith, I confess ‘Jesus is Lord’, believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. I call upon the name of the Lord, and I am now saved and fully justified by God. My oil lamp is now forever full, and I will not have to lament the day my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ comes in Jesus’ name, amen.
